FtpServer 2.0 is open source
The FtpServer software, formerly distributed as shareware, is now
open-source and freeware, subject to the GPL open-source licence. The
binaries and the sources may be obtained from
www.pmoylan.org/pages/os2/FtpServer.html
or from Hobbes.
(Binaries in one zip file, sources in three other zip files.)
FtpServer is an FTP daemon for OS/2. Although an FTP daemon already
comes supplied with OS/2, this one has more flexible control over what
clients are allowed to do and see. Each user sees a virtual file system
(which can be different for each user) which, through the use of
symbolic links and visibility controls, hides the actual file system
from the user. It is also possible to control which IP addresses are
allowed to connect to the server.
The included tools include a Monitor program that lets the manager see
who is connected.
