INIServe updated to version 2.6

Wednesday July 22, 2015  By: Peter Moylan

INIServe has just been updated to version 2.6. You can get it from
ftp://ftp.pmoylan.org/software/iniser2.6.zip
or from Hobbes.

INIServe (freeware, open source) is a daemon that enables remote editing
of OS/2 INI files. You install the server on the machine that has the
INI file(s), and a suitable client -- either the one supplied in this
package, or one that you write yourself -- on another machine. That lets
you perform remote management of applications that take their
configuration data from an INI file.

The reason for this release is to fix an error where command lines
longer than 1024 characters were being truncated. The error first came
to light when members of a Major Major mailing list were being
accidentally deleted from the list.
