Web Family Tree (WFT) has been upgraded to version 2.3. You can get it from

The new features in this version are:
- language support for Swedish and Polish have been added.
- there is a new utility to convert GEDCOM files
to the UTF-8 character set.

WFT is a CGI application that allows family tree pages to be served to a web browser. Unlike most applications of this type, it does not create large web pages in advance. (Although there is an included utility to do this, if designed.) Instead, it creates web pages "on the fly" as needed from GEDCOM files. It should be compatible with any OS/2 web server. For those who don't have a web site, it is still possible to use it privately via the loopback connection at 127.0.0.1.
