WebServe version 2.4 (a lightweight web server) is now available for download from

This fixes an elusive bug that caused some CGI operations to hang randomly. The most obvious symptom was the the server would end up stuck in a "too many users" condition, typically after a web crawler had accessed a CGI script multiple times. This problem is, I believe, finally fixed.

There are also a few less important updates, including a fix for the date error that caused problems on January the first this year.
