Version 1.8 of the GenINI package is now available. You can get it from

www.pmoylan.org/pages/os2/genini.html

or from

ftp://ftp.pmoylan.org/software/genini_1.8.zip

or from Hobbes incoming.

The test versions 1.8a, 1.8b, and 1.8c are no longer supported and
should be deleted if you have them.

The package contains
- a utility DumpINI to convert a file from INI format to TNI format;
- a utility LoadINI to convert from TNI to INI format;
- several Rexx utilities to deal with INI and TNI files.

Source code is included. Anyone wanting to use the TNI option in their
own software can do so royalty-free.

This version of GenINI expects to use INIDATA.DLL and XDS230M.DLL, which
are not included. If you don't already have them, you can download
ftp://ftp.pmoylan.org/software/inidata_1.0.zip
which contains the two DLLs. (And the source code for INIDATA.DLL) This
should be a one-off download, because is unlikely that INIDATA.DLL will
be revised very often.

Recommendation: although these DLLs can be anywhere on your LIBPATH,
ArcaOS users should probably put them in \usr\local\lib. If your \usr
doesn't have a "local" subdirectory, please read the INIData
documentation for the suggested subdirectory structure.
